Spoiler EndEdit

...It seems that Roundy had caused some unexpected consequences, Clubchloe. The text instead of being aligned at the center is now at the left. Can you fix this? I'm not very good with HTML and thus I did not find the problem anywhere in the code... --The hatred, greed, jealously and darkness within...It had transformed his soul into that beast. 16:17, October 24, 2012 (UTC)

User want Edit

...Well, Clubchloe, I think that there are some problems in this template (and many other templates). The problem is that the proper spellings of Ōkami and Ōkamiden is not used, instead it is spelled as "Okami" and "Okamiden". Yes. The dash above the O is required, as it is the proper spelling. And yes, the Ō can be copied from anywhere with it provided. However, when I attempted to fix those templates by myself, the outcome was disastrous. Can you fix this and other templates? I'd really appreciate it. --The hatred, greed, jealously and darkness within...It had transformed his soul into that beast. 01:43, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Definitely! Leave it to me! - Clubchloe1 18:02, October 28, 2012 (UTC)
Okay then, fixed! I would like to keep the templates name the same though, just for convenience of other users. - Clubchloe1 18:06, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Misunderstanding Edit

Sorry with the Azumi edits, but i thought the categories would be added in. I wasn't trying to spam edits to get the category badges.Darktriggerhappy (talk) 02:31, November 10, 2012 (UTC)Darktriggerhappy

Its okay =) What did you mean by "the categories would be added in"? You know, to link to a category you could do this: :Category:Categories name here and it would act the same as any other linked page. - Clubchloe1 02:34, November 10, 2012 (UTC)

Userbox arrangementEdit

So, the double arrangement code emerges whenever I use the subst code? --The hatred, greed, jealously and darkness within...It had transformed his soul into that beast. 15:42, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Oh wait, I didn't know you used SUBST: on it. Yeah, it uses the arrangement code. Why don't you just copy and paste the code for the userbox? - Clubchloe1 15:44, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, so that's the problem. And I don't copy and paste the code for the userbox, because I'm too lazy on that :). Well, thanks for the information anyway! --The hatred, greed, jealously and darkness within...It had transformed his soul into that beast. 15:53, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Ah I see. Well, it doesn't seem to mess up the code in anyway, so I'll just leave it there. - Clubchloe1 15:55, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Re: The wiki navigation Edit

I'm not experiencing this issue myself. As such, I won't be able to fix the problem without seeing it first hand--Soul reaper (talk) 23:45, November 28, 2012 (UTC)

The navigation issue on the other wiki was caused by a white area on the background image that isn't present on the one used here. Much of the custom set up for the navigation and other features was based around the older systems that Wikia replaced after my time here. Wikia's updates occasionally clash with things which are set up for their old systems and cause strange issues, the create a new page problem is likely connected to these.
If I could make a suggestion, you may want to decrease the rounded edges of the cells within infoboxes slightly to make it easier on the eyes.--Soul reaper (talk) 00:24, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not really new.I just haven't used a template before--Hikaruyami-having fun* (talk) 21:05, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

Can you please start a new section when starting a new conversation on a talk page? It helps me (and other editors) when we have to archive the page, and so other users when they look at the page will see a glimpse of what the conversant is about. Anyways, yeah get used to source mode, the visual editor is know to cause some odd things. — Clubchloe1signatureicon Clubchloe1 - Annoy me! 21:08, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

A solution for your VE rantEdit

Hi Chloe. I think I have a solution for the VE apocalypse and make all users learn wikicodes to efficiently contribute. Ever heard of __NOWYSIWYG__? True to its name, __NOWYSIWYG__ will forcefully disable the VE on the page it is used on. So, can you program KeldeoBot to put this on all pages? It'll surely help in making users learn to edit efficiently and properly. What do you think?  — 藤林提督電文送信{}

That would be a great idea! I'm still trying to get a program for it (I have one, just learning the basics), but yes, that would be a great idea.

Demon infobox Edit

hello, you seem to be the person remaking the wiki, well i wanna ask, would it be possible to add a floaral finisher onto the template pages of demons? i know there is a floral finisher page but sometimes it would be easier to just add it to the infobox, also the templates in your talk pages are WAY too long. –Mylittlewut,Friendship is Questionable 01:07, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I know it is long. Second, its already on the infobox, so there is no need to add it. You can see it here. (And I am trying to make my talk page template smaller mind you, its just I need to have some ground rules for my talk page.)
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk01:14, December 27, 2012 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Ah, did not notice, sorry but thanks. –Mylittlewut,Friendship is Questionable 01:19, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

References Edit

I was going to add the Background section to the Igloo Turtle page, and I came upon a coding question. The page currently includes both the Bestiary Entry and a quote from the Ōkami Official Complete Works, and both contain good information for the Background section. So how would both sections be properly put as references? I considered putting the Complete Works reference's headline into the actual references, but it didn't look right and seemed wrong. Then I was going to try using . So here's an example:
Section 1 name
Bestiary entry
Section 2 name
Bestiary entry</ref>
then you would put the <references/> another line below the heading for the Bestiary entries. So here would be the best example for the placement:
Bestiary entries
And the headings would be already on it. Also note not to put the quotes from the artbook, those don't belong on the bestiary entires, so the best place for it would be in the quote template at the top of the page (note that the colors would be these:
|bgcolor=ice color light
|border=ice color
|color=ice color dark
|1=The quote (does not need to be italicized)
|2=The person it came from, so this case,
it would be Ōkami Official Complete Works
|3=the game, but don't include this, because this case it doesn't need it}}

If this didn't help you, I will find an article with this style for you to look at an example.

Redlinks Edit

I've noticed that the page Special:Wantedpages is clogged by a great many redlinks that appear to be from the /doc section of templates that were quite obviously copied directly from Wikipedia (a particularly noticeable example is the 25th redlink, which is to a page in the Wikipedia talk namespace.) Should the links be properly directed to their Wikipedia versions using, or is there a different way for properly handling this? I ask because Wantedpages could contain some actually necessary pages (the page Inside the Emperor, for example), but such pages are difficult to find amidst the flood of unnecessary redlinks. Iron-Tipped Kane (talk) 22:59, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I've been wanting to get rid of those for some time <.< Yeah, one of our so called "bureaucrats" created an ton of templates (which most don't have use) and made quite an few red links during this process. I would wait until Tormented Sufferer comes online so we can all get rid of these red links. However, I will go through most of these templates and see which ones are useful and what not and get rid of those red links or delete the template that made the red link in the first place. So the "proper" way to handle this is either:
 1. Delete the unnecessary templates that made the red links
 2. Make the templates that made the red links more suitable (and get rid of the red links in the first place), which this I will have to discuss with another staff memeber before tackling this.
I'll go through most of them and see which ones are useful and what not then I can get an answer for you.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk23:11, January 19, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Okay, so I've decided to wait until Tormented Sufferer comes online so he can help me sort out and delete those templates making the red links, but I did get about 13 of them gone. He won't be on until about 7:00 PM (PST, my time), which I am usually asleep by then, so I will either try to stay up for like an hour deleting an sorting through those templates with him or just wait until tomorrow.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk23:40, January 19, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!

I updated it a bit, sorry if it is still bad, but some of the white spots ae either to small or just won't go away. Anywho, here it is.

キラーバニー (w:c:doom:User talk:これは私の会話ページです) (talk) 21:51, January 22, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, I feel like I am talking to an wall right now. You can reupload an image by going to the upload form, then for the file name for the image you are uploading, put in the name of the image you want to reupload. You can also go to the file page, then at the near bottom (before the file usage section; after all other sections) there will be an link that says "Upload a new version of this file" and click that and you can also reupload images like that. This is the last time I am gonna tell you, the next time, I will ignore you.

Dead link Edit

Yo, the Dead link template is actually dead. It uses the template Fix, which our friend Tormented Sufferer blanked, and only one page uses it. Delete and put some note by the broken link on Clover Studio's page? Iron-Tipped Kane (talk) 23:01, January 22, 2013 (UTC)

I was gonna do something about that. I'll just use SUBST: on the template (though it will probably do nothing) then put an note like you said saying the website is an dead link. Also, to prevent having to asking me this stuff again, before deleting an template (if its being used) and it's only used on one page/very little amount of pages use SUBST: on it, so the code for it is preserved and it doesn't break after it's deleted.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk23:05, January 22, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Ah, I didn't think of that. Thanks. Iron-Tipped Kane (talk) 23:16, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
Also note that if the template you're using SUBST: on is being used inside of another template SUBST: won't work - this case, you might wanna do an alternative for using SUBST: on it, so what you can do is (like I did) put an note or something that does the same functions of the template (if you can).

Oki's inspiration Edit

Hi Clubchloe1. I usually record only one source for not being tedious but I like to contrast them as much as possible. These are not official websites of Okami but they talk about the Ainu god Okikurumi:

I also agree with you that Wikipedia must be read with caution, but al least at that precise moment the hiragana spelling of 大神 in its Japanese article is not inappropiate.     Weirando (talk) 12:57, March 10, 2013 (UTC)

I only removed it because the only source you mentioned is the Japanese Wikipedia; they should NEVER be used as a source for anything. But since you have all of these sources you can add it again.

User:Tormented Sufferer/NihongoEdit

Hi Chloe. Can you revise the codings of the template above for me please, especially of the second and third parameters? I'd really appreciate it ;) — 藤林提督電文送信{}

What exactly do you want me to do with it? What's wrong with it?
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk14:26, April 1, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
What I want you to do is just check the code of the magic words of the second and third parameters; I'm not really familiar with its usage, so something may be wrong. — 藤林提督電文送信{}
So that's what you wanted me to do. Well, the code is fine. Also, for future reference please actually tell me what you need done on the template. Just saying "can you revise the coding of a template" is not informative on what you actually need done on a template. Instead, next time if you need the code checked either test out the template in the sandbox or make your own personal sandbox (it would be User:Tormented Sufferer/Sandbox) and test it there. If the code breaks while testing it under normal usage of the template then you can ask me to help you with it. (Note: Make sure to also test it with all of the parameters, and usage that you wouldn't anticipate with it too, as bugs on software is often caused by the devs not anticipating the cause of the bug and it just breaks, and this rule is the same for templates!)
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk17:04, April 1, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!

Hello, Chloe. As you know from LPs, Galestorm in both Ōkami and Ōkamiden are depicted as whitish-green gusts of wind. Yet the galestorm color templates above use various purple shades for their color. So now I'm thinking of changing these colors to 66FF99 for normal, 33FF99 for dark and 99FFCC for light. What do you think? — 藤林提督電文送信{}

See, the thing is that the dark and normal colors are virtually the same. However, the light color is fine. Here's my suggestions colors:
 • 33FF99 normal
 • 99FFFF light
 • 339966 dark.
Keep in mind that the dark colors have to be noticeable enough in the background of the light colors, the normal colors have to be the "neutral" colors of the dark and light colors; not too dark and not too light, and that the light colors has to be acceptable for backgrounds as it will be primarily for that. Here would be the example of the colors you picked for the template (the template the colors would be primarily used):
while these ones would look like this:
See? I might change it but I would like your opinion.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk20:34, April 9, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Ah well, those are certainly fine. When I looked up on a color chart, the color I picked seems quite discriminating. Only now do I see that they are not. — 藤林提督電文送信{}

Also, if you would like to know where I got these colors, it's from here. I will change the templates.

Oh! I understand, thank you for not 'banning' me or simply get mad, I only started my own Wiki and know about it since the Autumn of 2011.

Sorry! I promise I'll "try" to stick with the rules, regulations, policies and even the protocols. You see, I've done a bunch of 'indiscretion' things online.... I don't wanna bring it up again.

Last time, I was spamming in front of a GM in an MMORPG! They were.... well, kinda pissed by my actions.

My role is to read, go-through and fix up grammar or slightly 'off' informations and definitions.

I last played Okamiden was in the middle of 2012, that is, during the time when my computer got hit by lightning(I was playing NDS via emulator). So, I probably can help with the characters and gameplay elements in it. Aside for that, I'm still(and currently) playing Okami, so I'll brew up the obvious informations and allusions. Please fix them if you find it 'oblique'(inaccurate).

PS: Please do not check that wiki, it's just a made according to a project, and I'm just a minor promoter. Hi Chloe. About the policies above: I think we need to complete it as soon as possible because at any moments now, unwary users can create non-wiki related threads (like this particular one). We need to remove the notice at once to get the policies known and linked to; otherwise, many people will create irrelevant threads (what they've experienced from all other wikis). Of course, I cannot get your idea about what will the policy be when it is completed, so please complete it. Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信{}

A new templateEdit

Hi Chloe. Recently, I came up with a new template called ttlink, and I have only worked on a certain part of it. So Chloe, can you complete the first extension for me? I'm not very sure about the way I use to create a switch between {} and {} on the first extension. So please check if the way the codes used in it is correct or not. Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信{}

Sorry to break it down to you, but with the way templates work, you can only have either #1 or #2. Also, here is the right coding for #1:
<span class="explain" title="{}">{{{1|{lt}}}}</span>
I should mention that is actually different in the way the wiki identifies it from a regular | and a template. "|" is a parser function, and is the right way to use it in template parameters like {} to make a "default" option for that parameter, but is actually not detected as a parser function, and should only be used when making coding of templates that require use of "|" in parser functions that look like templates; e.g. , , etc. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.

No problem. I try to explain templates as less technical as I can, but still try to get the explanation explained correctly. Feel free to ask me any more questions about templates (but you know not to ask "how do I make a template?"; I'm pretty sure it pisses any expert template maker off when people ask that.)

Just checked the deletion log. It was deleted by Tormented because the character is very minor; please read over the notability policy before creating anymore pages. Basically, if theres no information about the subject of the article, or the subject of it doesn't have any impact on gameplay, don't create the article. (You should still read over the policy for other kinds of article notability, like trivia.) Thanks in advanced.

A (Soon-to-be) bot?? What's that?

PS: I was playing Okamiden and trying to fill up the wiki while on it, that's why I was silent.

MarrylLuna(Zahasuki Harikuni) (talk) 16:17, June 5, 2013 (UTC)

I just have to find a program for the "bot". Then it can officially be a bot. And if you're wondering what a "bot" is in wikis, its a account made by a user that is programmed to edit pages and it edits quickly, so it's less frustrating when editing pages in a row. The bot I was planning to make would be adding some templates to pages (the same template), but I have not gotten a program for it yet (sadly, AutoWikiBrowser doesn't work on 7 :().
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk17:08, June 5, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Ohh~~ , still, the explanation is not completely comprehended by me. So, how about sending me some example? like an image or something?
MarrylLuna(Zahasuki Harikuni) (talk) 02:08, June 6, 2013 (UTC)
Basically, a bot is a program that can edit pages much more faster than humans can on wikis. Now do you get it?
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk13:32, June 6, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
If you want an example, here's one: Say I have to edit all the pages in a category to add the same template. This would normally take much longer if it was done by a human, but bots can do this in a few seconds. My "bot" account, KeldeoBot, edits the pages and adds the template, and it does it in a few seconds. See now?

About Divine InterventionsEdit

Hey, Divine Intervention is an important recurring element that exists in both Okami and Okamiden, so....

Can I add that page? I've recorded videos and taken some pictures of it~~

Like the Restoration of Hana Valley, Resotoration of Kamiki Village, Restoration of Shinshu Field.... and other smaller cursed zones that are restorable by using the Celestial Brush Tech: Bloom.

MarrylLuna(Zahasuki Harikuni) (talk) 00:28, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, it is important, but the thing is that would the page actually have content? What I mean is why should we create a page when it's gonna have only videos? It would be better to put the video on the areas page than make a whole page for it. See? So basically, instead of making a page for videos of the Divine Interventions, you should put the videos on the areas page (in the pages gallery). So feel free to embed your videos using <youtube> tags (see soundtrack pages for a example of how to use them). (Please don't upload the videos if they aren't high quality; leave someone with a good recorder and a HD TV if you don't have any high quality videos of it. Thanks.) Hope this helps.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk17:48, June 7, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
Well, not literally, but the Divine Intervention is an important element in the games. And, the Konohana Trees aren't the only in-game properties that relates with the Divine Interventions. Defeating certain demons on certains places may also evokes Divine Intervention(as said by Issun upon the first battle against the Green Imps atop of Kamiki Village's view point). Also, in certains areas in which the grass are tainted and corrupted, it may be purrified to reveal certain hidden treasures or simply earning Praises.
The Divine Intervention isn't literally a divine cleansing, it's a type of interventions, anything may goes.
MarrylLuna(Zahasuki Harikuni) (talk) 01:09, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

Hello Chloe. As you know, has not been working properly, but before, I did not care about it at all. Only now when I've calmed down do I started to search for a way to fix it. And here it is. Should we import it, and change to this?

 • P/S: About my Aquabook theme, may I ask you to change the color of links to 1B45C1 for me? I've tested on changing several parts that contain "link", but no changes were seen in the preview. Can you change it for me? Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信{}
Well, about the Aquabook personalization: You shouldn't expect someone like me who rarely edits and doesn't have that much knowledge of CSS to be able change your theme like that. I tried, but I screwed up, so you'll have to live with the current one for now (or just delete your CSS page and use the wikis default monobook skin). About the youtube.js: Yes, you can copy it, but you must credit the wiki for the coding (because all wikis here use the CC-BY-SA license). I'll copy it over (no need to worry).

Hello Chloe. From what I've seen, for some reasons, on our site does not show the IFrame like that of Runescape Wiki's. So now I'd like to ask you to change the template somehow that it can display IFrames for embeddings with height larger than 30px. Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信{}

Sorry about that, I forgot to copy the code foron the runescape wiki over here, since it actually uses different coding. I'll get to that now.

Nevermind about the first message; it seems it was copied already. But I tried it out on my sandbox and I'm thinking that we need some other coding for it. Not sure what else, but until then, you may want to stick with the <youtube> tags on the template. Hope this helps.

An ApologyEdit

It's me. Pyrostar. And, I just want to say, I'm sorry for neglecting my duties on Okami Fanon Wiki. Seriously, I'm an admin. I should at least TRY to work on it. I guess I just had other stuff to do on Fantendo. So, anyway, I hope you can forgive me, and I'll be working more and more on our little forgotten wiki.

Regards, your fellow admin, Pyrostar (talk) 21:12, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

P.S. Save the Whales.

I must apologize too for my lack of inactivity. I too had more stuff I needed to do here than Ōkami Fanon. I forgive you; we all can't manage like 10 wikis at once. Sometimes, we need to take a break from one wiki for another wiki to work on.

Late birthday & white-space:nowrapEdit

Hello Chloe. First, I'd like to apologize that I've missed your birthday, and gave this 4 days late. Nevertheless, happy birthday!.

Now, I'd like to discuss something that has been bugging me. Recently, on Key items, you removed a bundle of <span style="white-space:nowrap;"> that I added around the names. As I see it, this attribute is necessary here, because it prevents the names from wrapping, especially the Japanese ones. So I really want to add white-space:nowrap again, but this is just a notice in advance to prevent unnecessary warring (like the occasion with Sunrise and "the rooster's crow")— 藤林提督電文送信{}

Thanks for letting me know about that. I thought Marry added it, and thought it was some kind of code that was left over from the VE, so that's why I removed them. Feel free to add them again (and thanks for not edit warring).

Alignment on Ōkamiden Limited Edition SoundtrackEdit

Hello Chloe. Recently, Sapphire asked me to arrange the soundtracks on the Ōkamiden Limited Edition Soundtrack section of the page Ōkamiden Original Soundtrack so that the soundtracks' original version are on the same line as their guitar counterparts. I've tried out a way, but it failed miserably. I'm out of ideas, so Chloe, can you please help me with this? Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信02:53, September 2, 2013 (UTC)

I think I may know. How about creating a custom infobox with the sound tracks on the same infobox? I'll create it in my sandbox if you can't.
Clubchloe1 The ケルディオTalk13:30, September 2, 2013 (UTC)  -->X & Y!
(This infobox would not be a template just for this. It would actually be the coding for it.)

Helping out with the ManifestEdit

As I wouls assumed, you probably know that I'm the one who created the "Manifest" page. From the page, you can see the list of items and its description as stated and trivially stated from Okamiden game.

Are you playing the game? If you are, maybe you could help with the page? I'm quite busy to cope with my duties and works and other stuff. Hope you could do it! I'll support with the informations that I'm able to obtain along the way!MarrylLuna(Zahasuki Harikuni) (talk) 11:12, September 3, 2013 (UTC) be honest, I've never played Ōkamiden before. I have seen a complete LP of it, but I don't wanna base my info off of videos. I do wanna get it though (I think it would be very fun, and I have a 3DS too :3). If you want some help with this, you can contact Tormented and he will be able to help (he's an Ōkami lover—I definitely know he'll be able to help out.) Thanks for being supportive of our wiki!

Collapsible infoboxEdit

Hello Chloe. Recently, I came up with an idea of a collapsible infobox. Basically, it is just the normal infobox, but with a rounded heading up at the top with the collapsible class (affects the entire infobox below it). I'd have done it myself, but due to time limitation (5 minutes until I have to leave for school), I cannot look into how to create that heading with a collapsible class right now (I'm thinking of having it as a separate template with a color parameter to adapt to its transclusion). I hope you can help me with this. Thanks. — 藤林提督電文送信06:31, December 8, 2013 (UTC)
