Serve up the ultimate dish is a side mission in Ōkami, taking place in Sei'an City's Commoner's Quarter. Amaterasu and Issun met Yama, who needed a Golden Mushroom to master the art of cooking.

Walkthrough

You can find Yama in his kitchen in the cafe on the west side of town. Talk to him and he will ask for the Golden Mushroom, assuming you have received it from the Tea Master in Taka Pass, in the "Whack-a-Mole" side mission. Hand it to Yama, who will then proceed to perform his "Fan the Flames Dance". Note the large scroll hanging on the wall to the left of the oven, as you will need to draw that exact symbol (the infinity symbol) in the oven when prompted. Do so, and Moegami will grant you the Fireburst technique, after which Yama gives you an additional fifty Praise.

Fireburst will summon a blast of flame, which is useful against enemies subjective to fire. It will also let you use Inferno, using the flames as a source of fire.
