What is a "Spoiler"

Spoiler is Genex slang for any element of any summary or description of any piece of fiction that reveals any plot element which will give away the outcome of a dramatic episode within the work of fiction, or the conclusion of the entire work. Because enjoyment of fiction sometimes depends upon the dramatic tension and suspense which arising within it, the external revelation of such plot elements can "spoil" the enjoyment that some consumers of the narrative would otherwise have experienced.

On our Wiki

Our wiki contains spoilers. We detail the events that occur in the games, the events that charcters are involved in and the locations events occur in. Any page on the Ōkami Wiki can contain spoilers. To help people avoid reading spoilers we mark the sections of an article with that contains spoilers with spoiler templates. {{Spoiler}} is placed at the beginning of the section and {{Spoiler end}} is placed at the end. ALWAYS TAG THE ENDING SPOILERS WITH {{spoiler end}}, as the {{spoiler}} template has code to have collapsible spoilers, and the {{spoiler end}} has the code to end it! (If it is not ended, the whole page after the {{spoiler}} will be collapsed!) If a new game is to be released we give basic plot information, character information and any other basic information we know. We DO NOT add great amounts of detail, nor do we detail major events or details until after the game has come out. REMEMBER our users are fans of the games and will want to read the wiki without ruining the experience for themselves. Even after a game's release it is a good idea to wait a week or two before adding intimate detail.
