Template:Appearances Capital Under Misty Siege and Carpenter's Project were missions in Ōkami, taking place in Sei'an City. Amaterasu and Issun had made it to the capital, but found out the city was being assailed by a sickly mist that sapped the strength of its inhabitants.
Walkthrough
Portions of the city will be inaccessible due to the cursed zones, and the mist will ensure most of the content here is also unavailable for the moment. For now you can access the Weapon Dealer and Tool Dealer merchants, the former of whom sells the Seven Strike Glaive and Gold Dust, and the latter who sells a number of key items, though you only need the Blinding Snow fishing rid for now. There is also a large number of treasure chests located in the empty canals, which can be easily claimed.
If you head from the Commoner's Quarter to the Aristocratic Quarter you will run into a closed bridge and Benkei, who tells you he knows how to lower it, but will not do so until the lake's water is restored. The water can be restored in the "Carpenter's Project" mission. Said mission is started by talking to Naguri, located in the top-left corner of the Commoner's Quarter. Naguri will request you to help with digging, which will start a short minigame in which you must guide him to the bottom.
There is no real wrong way to reach the end, and the overal map size is longer than it is wide. Simple keep removing blocks below Naguri, ensuring you avoid spiked blocks and water, while looking for giant buds to Bloom for extra time. After a short while you will reach the bottom, where Naguri can find the plug in the center. With the water restored you can return to Benkei, who will ask for the Blinding Snow rod, after which you can enter the fishing minigame with him.
Simply catch two of the local fish first, after which the third catch will automatically show up as the cutlass fish, who you should reel in after some struggle. This will mark the end of the "Capital Under Misty Siege" mission, continuing into "Wanted: Prayer Slips".
